Asia Pacific Association for Gambling Studies

The Asia Pacific Association for Gambling Studies (APAGS) is a not-for-profit international academic network consisting of scholars, professionals, regulators, and policy makers dealing with gambling research and the gaming business around the world. Without a collective position on gambling, APAGS is dedicated to promoting gambling studies from different perspectives (e.g., psychological, sociological, economic, and regulatory) through consultancy and scientific research and by holding international conferences and publishing scholarly journals.

 

 

Call for Papers

Journal of Gambling and Commercial Gaming Research 

Journal of Gambling and Commercial Gaming Research is the official journal of Asia Pacific Association for Gambling Studies (APAGS). The journal is an international interdisciplinary forum and reference source for gambling and commercial gaming research, focusing on issues surrounding and research concerning gambling and the gaming industry. The journal’s readership is international in scope and includes gaming researchers and practitioners from both the academia and the industry. All papers in the journal undergo rigorous double-blind peer review, based on initial editors’ screening and refereeing by two anonymous referees.
